Oregon Ride

 Tuesday - stop at Clear Lake

We left our motel and decided to ride on for a while and have breakfast on the way. Well the breakfast site turned out to be a real treat. Rick had remembered from his younger days a little restaurant at Clear Lake.

Clear Lake nestles in the Oregon mountains and is a meltwater lake. This place is fantastic - still at an altitude the air was crisp and fresh and the sky was that lovely deep blue. In the middle of nowhere there was that 'wilderness silence'

While we were there the wildlife showed itself. We saw an osprey (below) , also blue jays, swallows, eagles etc

Just feast your eyes on the view - you will need to maximise these to get the full benefit
